I think everyone has heard of the horrible horrible things that happened in Japan and are still happening. As many people lend their aid in this time of need, so do some companies. Gaming companies too, in fact:
As a player of Bloodline champions (go check it out if your interested, it's free) something caught my attention as I logged in the game today: the company which made the game had released a "charitable champion pack" in the in-game store.
Wondering what the deal was I read my way forward and noticed that it was a avatar and a title availble for sale. The packs buyers money went straight into the Red Crosses Relief effort in Japan.
How nice to find such an unusual way to help people :)
Good job I say, good job.
